Natural Green Onyx

Associated with the planet mercury, this variant of Onyx resembles the Emerald gemstone. It is formed through the layering of Chalcedony and Quartz in a crypto crystalline formation and has a hardness of 6.5 to 7 on Mohs scale. It is made up of layers of very fine grained Silica minerals. People often use it for spiritual purposes.
